Crash Gardening S2, Episode 2A: A Tour of My Food Forest
Last summer I posted a food forest video tour that proved to be rather popular.
I've been asked for an update, so Jeff and I filmed one this last week as part of Crash Gardening Season 2.
As you can see, the trees have really taken off. Stay tuned: I'll be posting Pt. II next week!

Wonderful! I want a food forest. David- how did you get the fig tree to root? I tried some cuttings from my Dad's tree. One I tried to root in a bucket of water, the other I planted and hoped for the best. They both died.
A lot of plants will rot if you try to root them in water - figs included.
I rooted mine by sticking multiple 1' pieces into a bucket of potting soil in a shady area, then watering them every couple of days. Over half set roots for me.
You should totally plant a food forest. I can get most of the trees and plants you'd need (plus all the seeds and cuttings you'd like)... just zip me a list.
Great video! I might just have to make one next.
That would be great. Make sure to add explosions.
