Reprint: August "Natural Awakenings" Article: Aminopyralid Contamination of Manure

The article below launched my serious column writing career with Natural Awakenings magazine and also led to my blogging post at Mother Earth News. It also alerted many thousands of people to the dangers of modern agriculture and likely saved quite a few gardens. The dairy owner mentioned in the article also changed his practices and no longer uses any herbicides on his field, thanks to my article. I may have lost my gardens that spring... along with a lot of perennials in my young food forest... but I gained a new desire to write and share the truth. I thank God for the experience; otherwise I might not be writing nearly as much as I do now. This article originally ran in the August 2012 edition of Natural Awakenings and pre-dated the creation of this site.
