I found a nice hawthorn tree recently, growing in miserable soil and still bearing fruit. I need to get some going in my nursery before too long. They're great trees.

Are you a new gardener?
We went picking blueberries at B&G Blueberries in Ft. McCoy yesterday. The flavor is wonderful and the owners are some of the nicest folks you'll ever meet this side of heaven.

I remember the first time I saw a mulberry tree. Growing up in South Florida, we were used to oranges, grapefruit, mangos and avocadoes. But… a blackberry that grew on a tree? Wild!
