I just found your blog today. I'm in NW Florida and it has been cold all day and expected to get in the 20's tonight. I look forward to reading some of your past post. I just started using the Eden method for gardening this past year. It did really well until I planted sweet potatoes. Those vines went psycho and took over the entire garden so I was back to square one after having to dig the entire garden back up to harvest the potatoes. I thought I planted plants not the vines. Potaoes need their own space with this method!
And yeah - sweet potatoes are utterly nuts. I'll bet they did screw up your "Back to Eden" garden... they go right down through my mulch, too. Everything is a wreck after I pull them, but they sure yield well.
