Epic sugarcane pressing

At some point, it seems I'll need a horse:

Or, alternately, a chick on a riding mower:

Or a good quality home juicer. I like horses but, the man needs a trough to catch all the cane juice. The chick on the mower is working hard getting dizzy to make sure all the juice is caught : ) In any case, pure sugar cane juice straight is mighty delicious.

Yeah - definitely losing some juice there.

The guy in the second video looks real low key, then you have the gal riding around with a grin on her face... the combination cracked me up.

I have a Champion juicer, but I'm not sure it will handle cane. The cane I have is the hard, crystal cane variety, as best as I can tell. Guess it's worth a try.

I have the Omega juicer and we grow the softer cane. We peel the cane and cut it into smaller bits. Most juicers won't handle the hard cane, though.
