Yes, yes... it mused. this would be a good planet to put down some roots in, so to speak.

Slowly, but building intensity, it began to quake with its customary pre-assault spasms.

Yes - you're right. It was picked too green, but that was the only way I could get one from down south. Fortunately, the seeds were mature enough to germinate - I have about a dozen seedlings now.
