Can anyone ID this tree?

I took this picture in Hollywood, Florida:




The fruit reminds me of an Ackee tree, but I'm pretty sure it's not that. I've seen this plant multiple times down south, but have no idea what it is.

Any guesses?

I'm sure it's not a loquat, though it's probably hard to tell from the picture I took. See the little glimpse of red? That's a bursting seed pod.
