Ida added that many of my pests prefer weeds... And that those people that have thrown everything out of whack in their yards are going to be out there with q-tips trying to ensure pollination of their crops due to their efforts to remove anything that might eat them.
Do you write these articles and then shop them around, or are they written per request?
I need a gig like that... Gardening is destroying my body...

Mother Earth doesn't assign me topics - I can cover whatever I'm interested in. That said, it's also not for pay - just for fun. Having my name associated with them is worth it, plus they bring in some new readers here.
One day I'll write a book... maybe then I'll make a little money. That said, the gardening I do makes me as much $$$ as a part-time job, just because it keeps me from having to buy produce. At this time of year, we're barely buying anything for our meals.
